Database building and management:

Our Client is one of the leading List Marketing companies in the USA and has a consumer list of more than 270 million people which it markets to various clients.
These have been loaded into a database by merging flat files from different sources and implementing various business rules and match logics. And this is regularly updated with fresh data (about 40 million every month) and involves various stages including duplicate removal, Do Not Mail scrubbing, etc.

Also various kinds of jobs are run on this database based on the client requests which include - List segmentation\fulfillment, Merge-Purges, Client Profile Analysis, Data appends and Data Hygiene etc.

List Segmentation\Fulfillment:

We have a fully developed list order fulfillment process run by our team which ensures a very high delivery rate along with a high level of accuracy and also provides for a maximum of a 24 hour turnaround for most jobs.
Our list fulfillment systems are capable of delivering data by email or FTP.

Profile Analysis:

Merge Purge:

Merge purge is the process of combining two or more lists or files, simultaneously identifying and/or combining duplicates and eliminating unwanted records such as deadbeats and nixies. The purpose of the merge/purge is to provide a mailer with the best possible list of names to which to mail a promotion.
The merge/purge program describes how the mailer wishes to identify duplicates and how he wants to allocate deductions for duplicates to the various rented lists.

 Address Correction (SGMailer):

This Project reads the address (only used for USA Address) related fields from the flat txt files (Fixed Format Files) and corrects the address as per the USPS data available. The software uses the Melissa objects to correct and standardize the addresses.
